Commissary Bal Bhawan

Kilkari is a creative center of Bihar. It is the only Bal Bhavan in the country which is located in all the 9 divisions of the state. At present 9 regional Bal Bhavans are operational which are located in Patna, Saran, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Tirhut Saharsa, Muzaffarpur, Munger and Purnia. Mrs. Jyoti Parihar is the founder director of Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhawan. At present there is a core team of 7 members at Kilkari Patna headquarters and a team of 4 members at the divisional level are giving their full contribution in running these Bal Bhavans.

किलकारी बिहार का एक सृजनात्मक केंद्र है| यह देश का एक मात्र बाल भवन है जो राज्य के सभी 9 प्रमंडलों में स्थित है | वर्तमान में 9 आंचलिक बाल भवन संचालित हैं जो पटना, सारण, गया, भागलपुर, दरभंगा, तिरहुत सहरसा, मुजफ्फरपुर, मुंगेर और पूर्णिया में स्थित हैं | श्रीमति ज्योति परिहार किलकारी बिहार बाल भवन की संस्थापक निदेशक हैं | वर्तमान में किलकारी पटना मुख्यालय में 7 सदस्यों की मुख्य टीम है और प्रमंडल के स्तर पर 4 सदस्यों की टीम इन बाल भवनों के संचालन में अपना पूर्ण योगदान दे रही हैं |

Gaya Commissionary Bal Bhawan -

The Gaya Regional Bal Bhavan focuses on research and conservation in the fields of architecture, Magadh painting, and the Magahi language. It also works on preserving Magahi folk songs and Buddhist philosophy, along with meditation and the Pali Prakrit language. Special training is provided in the vanishing classical singing style of Thumri.

गया कमिशनरी बाल भवन में स्थापत्य कला, मगध चित्रकला , स्थानीय भाषा मगही पर खोज और संरक्षण , मगही लोकगीत का संग्रहण । बौद्ध दर्शन, ध्यान, पाली प्राकृत भाषा पर खोजबीन। विलुप्त होती शास्त्रीय गायन शैली, ठुमरी गायन आदि पर खोज , प्रशिक्षण एवं संवर्धन।

Bhagalpur Commissionary Bal Bhawan

In Bhagalpur, the Regional Bal Bhavan offers training in the region’s renowned Manjusha painting and straw art. The center also focuses on Bihula Vishhari painting and folk singing, along with research on the Champa River, migratory birds in the Ang region, and the Jugnu Project. A radio program is also part of the outreach.

Muzaffarpur Commissionary Bal Bhawan

Kilkari Muzaffarpur is developing a dense forest of native trees as a research and experimental site for nature and science. The area is being transformed into a hub for environmental conservation, with specific projects on banana forests, litchi orchards, medicinal gardens, and Navgrah and Panchvati gardens. किलकारी मुजफ्फरपुर में स्वत: उगे हुए विभिन्न प्रकार के पेड़ एक घने जंगल के रूप में है। इसे प्रकृति और विज्ञान की दृष्टि से एक अनुसंधान व प्रयोग स्थल के रूप में विकसित किया जा रहा है। कदली वन, लीची बगान , औषधि उपवन, नवग्रह वाटिका एवं पंचवटी का निर्माण , पर्यावरण संरक्षण पर विशेष रूप से कार्य किया जा सकता है। कीड़े मकोड़े एवं पक्षियों के आवास पर खोज-बीन।

Saharsa Commissionary Bal Bhawan

The Saharsa Regional Bal Bhavan is dedicated to reviving the Panchgachiya classical music gharana and promoting Kosi art. It works to preserve extinct art forms from the Kosi division, such as Pamaria and Natuwa dance, as well as handicrafts made from Munj, a special grass found in Kosi Kachher used to create baskets, branches, ornaments, and more.
